Hi Guys...

Been a while since I posted here, but I thought I'd like to share this and try and get people involved.

Seeing as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and this cause is something very close to my heart as my grandmother is currently on hospice after a long fight with this disease, I want to do something in the blogging community to fundraise. I've looked into different non-profits and have chosen to use Susan G Komen's web donation page to make a place for people to donate as well as posting links to other sites where web donations can be made.

My reason for posting here is that I'd like this to be as widespread as possible. I don't expect to make a huge amount in donations, but every big of exposure will help. At the moment, I'm a little tapped for big ideas, so please share them if you have any and let me know if you'd like to participate.

It's always wonderful to see members of the community getting involved for good causes.

I'm going to make the post and set up the donation page as soon as the funeral arrangements are overwith, which should be in the next few days. I'll post here as well so people are aware.
