I though this be a very good one to drop in the Brainstorming section because of the name of the topic.

I have a lot of ideas for post that i will do and i often write things down i get ideas about. For me i blog in the way thats most fun for me and thats about my characters life, class stuff, community stuff and then on my most interesting posts under the topic of "Perspective". Those take me days to write properly and takes lots of time to think about, yet in some way i've already thought of it in some way. But there are some posts that i have a thought of, be nice to write it because in some way i would have the passion to inject my thoughts and experience in the game into it.

So here ones i will never write and hope someone else can have the passion to write.

1. Impact of Instance/Raiding with new Class Spec as a Hybrid - Reason why i though of this. In my experience i see many players level completely in one tree of their Hybrid class often the DPS tree. Often as soon as they get to 70 many switch class spec to Healing or another that they are not so well at playing and now learning how to play that new spec while in high level Instance/Heroics/Raiding. To me there is a impact to that in having inexperience. Maybe someone else can write it.

Here's the stuff I had drafts off but I never got around to doing or finishing. I'm mostly not even going to start or complete them either:

Choosing the Right Healer for You: I wanted to make an introductory post about all 4 of the healing classes and a brief summary of their strengths and weaknesses for a relatively new person to look at it and have an idea of what they were getting themselves in to.

X Ways to Make your (healer) more valuable to your Guild: Again, this is another performance related piece. Just minor things to increase your value and "networth" in raids and such. Didn't finish this one because I'd be basically rehashing my old pieces.

Crime in the WoW World: *blank*

Endgame Healing as a Shaman: Would also have been echoing an older piece. Might want to consider tailoring it as what Shamans are excelled for and what groups and such. Maybe some examples of raid encounters or something where they can shine.

Anyway, if you're struggling for some topics and some of these may or may not apply, by all means steal it =).

A topic which i may not ever write: "How i quit Wow"
By the time i do need to write it barely anyone will be readin gmy blog anyway... will be a quiet death then :P

A different topic i will likely never write: "How to rock in PvP as a Prot Warrior"
Damn that was a frustrating time, trying to get enough honor for that shield. No matter what people say, PvP as prot warrior is pure torture imo.

Man, one I desperately, cravingly, longingly desire to write but probably never will is "101 Ways My Guildmates Get On My Nerves."

To the best of my knowledge, none of my guildies even know I blog, so it would likely fly right over their heads, unnoticed. But the thought's there. And I'd probably have to trim down the list from the 50,000 reasons circling my head.

Same with Alliance here :P

But when I do, I would blog about the terrible (imo) starting quests.

Other blogs are a huge source of inspiration for me. Sometimes I just don't agree with a certain piece of advice or strategy and feel the need to counter it in a respectful and informative manner. Sometimes I just have a completely different spin on a technique or strategy. I made a post today on the how, when and why of Feign Death today because of a post on someone else's blog.

Lately I've caught WowInsider's eye. This is a good thing.. but it means I can no longer use my blog to muse on about any internal guild conflict. I would -hate- for something I meant to use just to work out my thoughts "out loud" to end up a top post on WowInsider.

I've never been able to actively grouse about people in my guild. "XXX hunter sucks because of X, Y and Z" My guild knows about my blog and if I have problems with someone I need to discuss it with them off-the-blog (ie, in a much less public venue). Now, grousing about PUGs is completely an open topic ;)

Heehee.

In all seriousness a lot of blog topics that take me a while to write or that are a pain to write... DO get written eventually... they just might take a while. So I "never say never"!

Lol, I was just thinking the same thing -- why my guild can't organise a piss up in a brewery etc.

On a serious note, as an officer, I think there's a lot of material in guild relations, but it's finding an angle that doesn't look like a personal attack...

I'll probably also never write 'why I respecced holy'.

I just may do that Matticus. I've been considering putting some stuff together about this, and how to do it without just giving a list of links to people that have already done the theorycrafting for me. We'll see what happens. I think I"ll call it "Endgame Healing as a Shaman, or, How I learned to stop worrying and love chain heal"

Posts I'll never write?
"My new main is a warlock"

I love it, I love it, and I may just use it yet! Combines my obsession with crime with my obsession with WoW. The downside is, this is one post that I don't think I will be able to field test myself...

Hmmm... I have a mostly written post saved about the various Outland rep rewards suitable for Shadow Priests, including the blue PvP set pieces. I just just seem to work up the energy to finish that one.

I have another piece, about 1/2 way done, about the Draenei toons I'm currently rocking on my hubby's old server. That one can't post until we tell our guildies why we've been missing lately, lol.

I have a hypothesis I'd love to test and post about, "Taurens are the females toons least likely to be G.I.R.L.s. But oy - the research.

One more - and I really hope this one does eventually get written - "Why I left the guild of RL friends where I was GL for the raiding guild."

A list of topics you'll (probably) never see grace the E4AE headlines:

"The Healing Stylings of Cathmor - Raid healing as a Holy Paladin"
"Life as a Blood Elf - Rerolling as a magic-addicted crack addict"
"Nostalgia Abound - Missing the 5 minute duration blessings"
"Are You Not Entertained? - An analysis of gladiator-level arena combat from a personal perspective"

And, one that I want to write but probably can't/won't:
"Mr. Fixit - 10 ways to improve the Paladin class without breaking it"

You know.... ~I~ could write 101 things that annoy your guildmates when you do them, and you could all contribute your ideas without there being any drama at all. =) Just a thought!

Posts I'll never write? Hmmm...

How I achieved a 2100+ arena rating...

AofE grinding for Rogues, 101

Gnomes - are they better baked or grilled?

The Orc Fashion Contest...

It's funny back in November of 2007, I actually turned this concept into a post.

http://www.tankingtips.com/2007/11/29/8-posts-on-tanking-that-ill-probably-never-write/

Basically, it was 8 topics that I just didn't research about and just gave my gut instinct about them. (letting my readers know that was what I was doing) It seemed to go over pretty well, but these days I don't want to sacrifice 8 topics for 1 post lol.

One should never say never, but since I write my blog from an in-character perspective and since I'm not that fantastic at math, I think I'm never gonna write a post (or response-post) on mage theorycraft. I'm sure it's doable, but I don't think I have the energy to translate all the terms needed into Azeroth-friendly words. It would be very fun to read though...
