Blog Azeroth

Inspired by Kalixta's WoW Recipe IRL topic and the "World of Warcrafts" column over at WoW Insider, I started wondering, how many people are into making WoW-like things in real life? Not just food, though food could count too. But how many people create pottery inspired by WoW? Or wigs, or costumes inspired by WoW? Or even knit or sew things relating to WoW? Or are you a fan artist with pen and paper or pastels or clay? How about Machinmas? Comics? Stories?

Is there WoW inspiration in your life? Do you wear it proudly? Do you make it? Are you interested in it? This could go lots of ways--share what you make, or link to creations you're fond of!

Edit: My take on the whole thing--don't have my own to share, sadly, but I shared ideas and linked to some of my favorites.

I don't think it's quite the ... method of these shared topics, but I have an entire post category on my blog devoted to these types of things. It's called "Titans and Demiurges" (kind of a pretentious name, I know).

Hmmm... this gives me enough time to take a stab at the Warcraft themed model horse I've been planning on making! Now I just have to decide if I want to go Horde or Alliance my first horse out. *ponderponderponder*

I've gotten my post up as well as the first 'in-progress' post for the horse (over under the other subcategory). It's so great to see everyone else's handiwork! (The druidmobile is AWESOME!)

There's a disadvantage to the shorter queue of topics. I didn't manage to finish any of the myriad of projects that might have qualified before the week was up, but I do fit the target.
