Well when I was making are recent post on my blog, today, I thought of something that I think may be an interesting project with and when Cataclysm launches.

That would be a shared topic about how to play a or your class. Many things are changing in many of the classes and lets be honest the faster and better the information that his players about it the better randoms and recruitment will be for us all.

Now what sparked this was I hit 50 on my new druid that is leveling Balance and I thought it would be fun to make a video of my cast sequence because reading something and seeing something actually performed are 2 different things.

Anyway I was not sure whether to post this idea here or in the brainstorming section. I think if nothing else it would make a very good shared topic and I know several/many blogs out there already do something similar from time to time this was just a shout out to bring it all together at one time.

The thing is that once Cataclysm launches (or even when the 4.0 patch bomb drops) everyone will be scrambling to update their established guides and how-to posts with the new information. I already have a laundry list of things I'll need to update for my readers, and the general time crunch of the expansion (along with EVERYONE asking questions about how to play reroll classes). New information hitting the fan = bloggers are going to be updating their posts as fast as possible to maintain their accuracy.

That isn't really a shared topic type of idea. That's an "everyone will be doing it very quickly to maintain their accuracy and relevance" idea. It happened when WotLK was launched as well.

Everyone will be scrambling to get their updates however making a video of the new cast sequences sounds good.
Probably going to need a decent video editor for adding your own visuals as you go through the various sequences.

Good luck with that Icedragon i'll be looking forward to seeing your vids.

Where did I state I was making videos? I think you're referring to the wrong poster.
