Well i've been having ill luck finding a guild on my server since 3.1 where the guild i was in <Fluffy Bunny killers> broke up due to emotional drama that i will not get into in full detail.

Being so long without a guild i feel comfortable in i'm beggining to wonder is there a guild anymore out there for me..i've been in this server since it opened and know most old time players and the history of the server that many have forgotten.

but i'm started to think to myself...if i can't find a guild i'll make one instead...but pause..is it worth the time and effort, what do i need to make my guild successful i know my guilds but not the guild as a whole if i start one.

But i list my personal wow goals
1.Get my remaining high level alts to level 80
2.Master every professions between my main and alts.
3.Join a group or guild that can focus on ICC 10(Or PVP BG) at times i can play with my guides and/or friends
4.Have fun

Between all this reference and some opinions i was curious what others opinions are.

I gotta tell you...being a Guild Leader is usually a thankless job. It is like being a raid MT AND raid MH while also leading the raid. People expect a lot of you because you're the guy in charge. Now if you do become a GM and enjoy it then keep at it. It takes a lot of work to make a guild work but when it does it is an awesome feeling. I have been the GM of my guild since I started the guild 5 years ago and I could not imagine myself not being the GM. If you have the time and energy to commit to building your own guild then I say go for it. If anything it'll let you experience a new side of playing wow.

2.deciding on a name

i thought of recuilting well i work up my professions after i max out mining herb and skinning on my alts. so i can prepare myself for raids and stuff

From our experience, it really was worth it. We ran a guild for about 6 months, as a collection of people who were basically free over the summer. I wouldn't say it was thankless at all, in fact, Mouse was pretty much worshipped by her guildies. XD

It's draining though, everyone has a problem about something or someone at some point, and not only are you their leader, you're also their counsellor, therapist and referee.

We loved being a joint GM, but we just can't commit to ever doing it again.
