Something related to children's games? Arg wouldn't work over the internet sadly but something like Chinese Whispers, Ring Around the Roses, Hide and Seek. More of a half asleep suggestion, if anybody likes the idea at all :)

Since it's Children's Week, I suggest something to do with baby characters! The ingame WoW orphans always want to go sight-seeing, so maybe we could have some fun trying to get our baby toons into all sorts of crazy, ridiculous places?

Hmmm... hide and seek... i like it...

Hiding yourself on someone else's site would be pretty tricky though... and hiding on your own site defeats the purpose a bit. Hmmmm

Well, you could do a complicated Secret Santa / Secret Admirer for that one.

Person A writes a post for Person B. Person B publishes A's post without saying who it is. Person C has to search the blogosphere for Person A's post. (Person B also has a person to find, but it's not Person A.)

Perhaps too complicated for people.

I like these ideas! I was thinking the thing with baby toons, or anything really, might be fun if we teamed up or paired up for them? Or even, since the whole Children's Week is very "sightseeing" focused... I know I sometimes feel that way when I go to play the opposite faction, like "Migosh I have no idea where I'm going." I don't know how feasible it is but what if a dedicated Alliance player paired up with a dedicated Horde player and showed them some neat Alliance things or places or just took them around? It could be a fun way to meet other bloggers 'in person' and kind of interactive too.

Just ideas! I'd love anything that has people collaborating or meeting up or working together, can't wait to hear what other people come up with! :D

A tagging meme disguised as Duck Duck Goose would be hilarious (if it could be pulled off).

Team up with someone from your server, or have a SAN-fest?

I failed at quoting... But I was trying to respond to, "Team up with someone from your server, or have a SAN-fest?" Haha.

Hmm, could go either way. If someone rolled an Alliance character on my server I could show them a great time (mage portals!) but if it was a big SAN thing that'd be social too which is always fun!

Huh, bloggers trading servers would be cool. Then you can guard or port or Traveler's Mammoth a level 1 or so alt everywhere.

This is an interesting idea! I know as someone who's only ever played Horde (except for SAN) I know absolutely nothing about Alliance "landmarks" or cool places. Even if this isn't ingame, we could always spotlight a particular favorite location on our blogs...like the writer is giving the tour to the orphan (only in this case the orphan is the reader!)

Going even further on this theme, it could even be like Person A - show us an Orc thing! Person B - show us a Troll thing! Person C - etc.

Ooohh... like a kind of scavenger hunt of cool things that then spark blog posts? I like where that's going! And it would make for some really fun reading/writing too.

I'm also liking the idea of somehow making it benefit a charity, if I'm reading that right. Makes definite sense for Children's Week.

For the scavenger hunt thing, you can always try to buy one of the toys in Dalaran -- Tiny Blue Ragdoll or Tiny Green Ragdoll, for example -- and go places with it. Takes screenshots of the toy in a specific place. Or take your orphan or yourself.

To tie in with a charity, you can always make it so every time a donation is made to a certain amount, another round of the screenshots is released. Like it starts out with a topic of "$5 -- I want to see something blue." So everyone goes and finds a place to place their toy or orphan or whatever next to something blue. Then when donations hit $10 (I'm just picking amounts), the toy says, "I want to see something with voodoo." And everybody goes out for another round of screenshotting. Etc.

I don't know, maybe I'm rambling.

I think you're onto something, Poneria. I like the idea of the Ragdolls.

So... anyone willing to take on the idea of a fundraising-type event?

Or putting together just a scavenger hunt?

Time's a-getting on... there's less than 2 weeks until Children's Week starts...

My problem is that I'm not really sure what to do, my memory's so bad that I'd forget all sorts of things.

I like this idea. It could be fun to compare the screenshots for each theme in the end.
