I apologize if I'm placing this in the wrong place - Feel free to move it if I did.

So after about a month of broken computer, it still can't run WoW, which means I have to find other things to do to waste time. Which got me wondering how other people spend their WoW time when they can't play WoW.

This summer my computer's a/c adapter decided to start smoking and generally die a scary death. I was without WoW for three weeks, I believe. Luckily, I was at my parent's house for the month house/theatre sitting, so I had the use of their computer for blogging and networking needs, but no Warcraft.

I spent a LOT of time reading. I used to read all the time before I played Warcraft, so I stopped by the bookstore and bought a boatload of books and just had at it. If I had brought my knitting things with me, I would've worked on my knitting - I could've made good progress on a few projects in three weeks.

Pick up a hobby you may have been neglecting for WoW or even pick up a new one!

I like this topic. I will post this as my Feb. 1 shared topic. Hopefully we can get it listed as a shared topic date. I'll edit this post once I have a working link. Can't wait to see what others do, and if they have WoW On, WoW Off times like I do.

Well, I sorta posted this before this became a shared topic, but it is exactly my plans on what to do when WoW runs out

Fortunately, I found 15 dollars squirrelled away in an unlikely place, and my account was turned on yesterday, just after my hubby's ran out. I still plan on working on my Wii Fit (I am making a pact with a warlock...you can't break those without something bad happening!) and wresting the controls of the Playstation from my kids on the weekend (and making them pout and whine in the process) to figure out Fallout 3, but everything else will fall back to leveling my druids and gearing up my 80's.
