The way I am going to write it is this: to explain to anyone reading who may not play the Rogue class (my main/only class at this stage, haven't played my priest in years) what abilities I will be using that set me apart from the other DPS in the raid. For instance, Feint. With the changes to Feint, that I know many Rogues still haven't realized is in place, it is plausible/acceptable/expected for Rogue's to stay on target during AoE blasts. Point in case, Emalon. If a Rogue runs out of range of a nova from Emalon he/she is not doing her job and is hurting the raid because they should be continuing to DPS on target having applied Feint to reduce AoE damage by 50%. That is the kicker though, it reduces damage by 50%, not 100%. That being said, it is necessary for the healers to understand 1) why your staying in the nova, 2) that you will live if they continue to heal you after the nova, 3) you will beat the enrage timer much easier having 3k+ dps remain on the boss during those novas.
I cannot tell you how many times healers have neglected to heal me in VoA because I stayed in the nova simply and they felt I was a "noob" so they didn't toss me a heal and the next nova killed me. If healers knew how feint works, such could be avoided.
That is the angle I'll be writing from, giving 3 clear abilities that everyone should know about your class to make all aspects of life in WoW easier. It is true that the blogging community is well read/played on other classes, but not all blog readers are. I've been playing since day one and I will not pretend to be an expert on, say, enhancement shaman.
That's all, just thought I'd clarify a bit.
Cheers!
