Thanks! I was never that great of a speller, and my teachers used to ride me pretty bad about it in school. I have always been kind of self conscious because of it. Of course in about 5th grade this caused me to have nothing but contempt for the English language and decided to completely ignore that part of my education.

The problem was is was in AP science, math, etc. except for english. So the teachers seemed to give me more trouble than the would everyone else. Of course these are the same teachers who told me I was wrong because I was left handed, and tried to make me write with my right hand. They would then proceed to give me D's and F's on my writing assignments because they could not read them. (I'm not kidding).

Just kidding, that is a pretty foolish thing for them to do though.

I remember in 6th grade they made a massive stink about making everyone learn cursive and I've never used it since. I'm fairly convinced too many teachers don't really have a grasp on what needs to be taught. Oh well I suppose.
