The white text on black background is rather jarring to read.

Nitpickers. Reads easy enough for me.

I have fond memories of when I was relatively new to the game, so I'll probably follow your blog; the learning experience is like nothing else for this game.

I spend an aweful lot of my time reading white text on a black background... I hang out in the WoW forums! The font we went with for my blog is actually more of a very light gray than a pure white, which I think helps a lot (the more bold white is only for when I bold or have links).

These forums are more of a lighter grey that's easier on the eyes. But in the end it's up to you, so oh well!

I took advice and changed it to a greyer tone, it is still light but it I can see a difference!

I realized I should take advice from the readers because having a blog is a mix of what the readers want, and what the writer feels
