I don't think that Technorati includes links from web forums in its authority calculations (though Google's LinkAlert service seems to). It is somehow able to determine whether a linking site is another blog and credits you accordingly.
I wish that I could get off those blacklists, but it's something that's completely outside of my control. I might not have that problem were I hosted through Wordpress.org, but as a self-hosted blog blacklisting databases seem to detect me pretty quickly as something not intended for work. You should still be able to read my blog through an RSS reader though you probably won't be able to see the images. You might also look into Unblockall.net, a service that ostensibly allows you to view whatever you want, despite the best efforts of your corporate firewall (http://www.killerstartups.com/Social-Ne ... ed-website
). As with anything of this nature, though, use at your own risk. I'd hate to hear of anyone running into job-related trouble because they wanted to see the pictures on my site.
