Hi there. I am very new around here so first of all "hi!" I would consider myself quite decent at html and css which means I can construct nice looking web pages but ask me to design a logo or some graphics and I turn pale. Since I did not want to spend any money on creating my wow blog I decided to have a search on google for some tips. I read a lot of wow blogs and a lot of them have fairly basic headers (maybe a cropped screenshot with some text over it.) This is great for some blogs but if like me you want something a bit more professional and unique I want to share a fantastic tutorial that I found and used to create my logo on www.toprosters.com.

You will need some version of photoshop to follow it. It is very self explanatory but one section I did have to read around when I got to was the shading. I found that http://www.drawfurry.com/?p=7 explained it better.
