Searching and finding blogs to add to your blog roll isn't too hard obviously.
I've got a good bunch of interesting reads linked up and very visible.

What's a good way (other then by asking nicely in an email to every blogger out there) to get your blog "out there" and linked from other blogs? Don't say ECard, i'm not a fan of that one.

Perhaps we could set up a link exchange topic (this one?) if there isn't one yet that might give other bloggers an idea on interesting blogs out there that feel they got enough content to warrant cross linking.
Basically a "i'll link you, if you link me" sort of thing.

But i feel that's used more for just starting up, and not so much looked back at a month later when a block might have loads more new content and readers.

Also, is there a nice script that can grab 10 random links to display to visitors. Some blog rolls are getting so bulky that it's unlikely to generate much interest from visitors.

I'm not opposed to this idea, but I'm not sure why we can't just use the Introductions forum to pull from. I'm guessing every blog has a desire to be linked, even if they might be low on content.

Still, one thread, rather than an XML list or a forum filled with threads that all have to be individually opened might be more convenient for some people.
