Hello

Hallow's End is coming!! It starts on Monday, October 18 - just over two weeks away.

I was just wondering whether anyone would be interested in running some kind of trick or treat event - either an exchange between blogs or someone co-ordinating and allocating tricks or treats.. I'm not sure how it would work, but I just thought I'd try planting a seed of an idea...

I can't co-ordinate myself this time because i'm going to be away next week, but I'll be involved if someone else takes it on

I think it would be lots of fun to have another big event.

Need to brainstorm some ideas though!

Hmm trick or treat... We could do something with comments. The participating bloggers make up a fake identity with a fake avatar (a "costume") visit all the participating blogs, leave them a relevant or funny comment with trick or treat as a signature.

Not sure what could be given in return as the "treat" though. Any ideas?

We can reply with a picture of candy? Just to taunt the people who participate... Or maybe we do a special Halloween-themed post as a "treat"? After all, people are visiting blogs because they like the styles or writing. Perhaps we could have the commenters leave comments that could be strung together? And then the bloggers have to incorporate all the comments into a blog post?

Could make for some entertaining reading.

I guess it's a bit late now... With all the Blizzcon hype, this slipped my mind. I'll save the idea for next year though, since I think it would be pretty fun.
